Book Report #17: Radical Reflections

Radical Reflections: Passionate Opinions on Teaching, Learning, and Living by Mem Fox was a great refresher of motivation.  I read this one in bits and pieces all summer, and it effectively infused my mind with small doses of inspiration.  Ms. Fox has a fiery way of writing–and being–that is both strategic and authentic.  Ms. Fox reminded me that my literacy instruction has to be both strategic and authentic in order to be most effective.

Sidenote: I haven’t read all of Ms. Fox’s children’s books, but these are a few I really enjoy:
